February Chill

February has been a cold and harsh mistress. The cold has played havoc to my skin and the wind has caused some right run-ins to my hair with my face. And that's just in lil' ol' England, nevermind Prague, where it's minus temperatures. So when it came to a quick get-away there, I packed enough polonecks to give the 90s a run for their money.

Red lips and monochrome stripes - C'est chic, non?! 

But what does one do when it's the perfect mix of refreshingly chilly with glorious sunshine? Whack out your Ray Bans son.

 Navy polo neck, burgundy corduroy skirt and a mustard coat...and not a pastel colour in sight! - where's the real Amy and what have you done to her?! All that's remained is a majestic heart-shaped belt.

This month hasn't just been chilled in terms of temperature, but also when it comes to dressing. Dress-down denim with golden glimpses of longline necklaces is acceptable all day, everyday.

See? Chilled as an Ice Queen. Or a shimmering mermaid, which is what these high-tops are. Ugh, I love them love them love them.

But you know what I love less? Working out until you're a hot mess. But you may as well wear kawaii kit while doing so. *insert girl emoji with one hand raised...you know the one I mean*

Sugar Sweet

As we all anticipated, the British Summer was never going to last forever.

So, before it finally draws to a close, I skipped out of the house to catch every last drip of sunshine that England had to offer, and what better dress to soak it all up, than this flirty, little off-the-shoulder number.

Keeping everything delicate, and blushing in pink, and I the daintiest of necklaces on, and even my socks were pink (complete with hearts and everything!)

This outfit made me feel all soppy and loved up, frolicking amongst the flowers that coincidentally, matched my outfit too! Good jobs nature!

Keeping things fresh, I laced up my Nikes and popped on my favourite belt (which I always think has a Moschino feel to it, with it's black and gold tones)

Although I am a MASSIVE summer bunny - I love the sun, I love not having to wear tights, I love the BBQs and Pimms and I love that it doesn't get dark until 11pm - I am looking forward to changing up my wardrobe for autumn and having more fun with layering, ample amount of tartan, and lashings of maroon, pine green and mustard yellow.

Florals..? For Spring?

Grounbreaking...well, for once - perhaps.

Despite my love of all things that look like a beautiful bouquet of Spring florals, I could not agree more with this infamous 'Devil Wears Prada' quote.

Year after year, when Spring rolls around, florals are made out to be the new hottest thing since Beyonce told men if they like it, they should've put a ring on it. And it's not. Really not. It's the same every year.

Unless, you're one of the longest running department stores in Britain, collaborating with one of the biggest brands in sports.

Liberty London not only is one of the most beautiful buildings in London (which I still find as breathtaking every time I see it now), but also produce some quality and gorgeous printed fabric.

So when they're delicate and nostalgic florals were mixed with the fresh and clean lines of Nike last year, the world went mad, and this year was no different.

And after lusting after the collection last time around, this year, I decided to nab myself something. And this beautiful shorts are now mine to snuggle in forever.

The calm and relaxing tone is blue is the perfect juxtaposition to the rush of activity of Nike 

And my favourite thing is that when you look closely, every section of the shorts are a different archive Liberty Art print - it's like wearing your own personal patchwork quilt!

With these, on a lounging Spring day, I wore them with my favourite piece of knitwear at the moment.

Yellow is one of my favourite colours (it's so goddamn happy!) and when it comes with 3 of my other favourite things as well - that it's pastel, has floral lace on it, and shoulder cut-outs - well, that's just a winning streak right there!

Fun in the Sun

The sun has finally arrived in the UK! (and fingers crossed that it's here to stay!)

So, for the first time in a long time, i left the house without anything on my legs! No tights, no nothing...the joy! And in the midst of this wave of the 90s having a comeback, the playful child in me came out to play in the sunshine.

With my dungarees and trainers on, ready to run around in, i felt stepped out greet and say a big "hello" and "welcome back!" to the big, shining, yellow ball in the sky, and nearly burst into a game of hopsctoch or skipping rope!

These trainers a new recent addition to my family of footwear, and our relationship blossomed by complete accident. When my housemate went to exchange her Converses for a different size, i was just waiting and perusing the trainers, and then i stumbled across these cute and fun babies!....before being pointed out they were for kids...

Alas, it was meant to be! As kids apparently have feet the same size as a 5 foot 5 Chinese 21-year old...what are kids eating these days?!

The mix of bright coral and candy floss pink is so infectiously fun, and i especially love the cute heart on it! and how it the can instantly brighten up any outfit.

I hope this weather finally means the start of Spring and Summer, and so far so good, things are looking up!

I've only got 2 weeks of uni left now, and my degree is done...I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do afterwards! But hopefully the sun will stick around and i can enjoy it to its fullest when I'm free from the shackles of uni.
